Once upon a time in mexico
so it would just be ridiculous and unnecesary and embarrasing and illegal if i posted a complete rundown of the fabulous baja trip but something had to be said because i am still in awe of how wonderous that was.
we can do some vauge highlights though
umm...well santa rosalia was a really awesome town in itself. none of that touristy crap. we hung out with the locals. ate at the best taco stand ever. made a tortillaria visit and got 12 freshly made tortillas for $1. orgasm. the hotel was really awesome that we stayed in. i ordered pan frances for breakfast the first morning. oh yeah the first night i went to sleep at 5 and got up at 6 to go whale watching. which was SO SWEET. seriously. we were in one of those little like 6 ft moterboast and got to go right up to the whales. I GOT TO PET A WHALE IN THE OCEAN! IN ITS NATURAL HABITAT! sweet man really it was playing with us and everything oh yeah and saw some dolphins too..but..who hasn't seen those. they were quite playful though. theeeenn we had the best fish tacos in the world. and i dont even like fish tacos!!! seriously, i'd never had one in my life before that trip, and i ate three and they were delish! oh yeah, i am quite proud of my accomplishment that, besides breakfast, all i ate was tacos while i was there. which was fantastic because they were just so good. crap its making me hungry just thinking about them.
yeah..and then a whole bunch of other stuff happened that was really awesome but im just getting tired of typing. so. shout out to baja. basically...it was the best trip ever.
oh yeah. basically...i lost my camera in mexico and i just got off the phone with the guy at the hotel i lost it at and had a very disjointed conversation with him.
basically im so mad, not for losing the camera, but for losing all of those priceless pictures. ya know? one of those things that you just can't buy back. oh well. thers still the fond memories.
cheers.
