really?

EEWW

this confirms my hate for both heidi montag, McCain, and the republican party in general

"I'm a Republican and McCain has a lot of experience."
-Heidi Montag, when asked who she plans to vote for

"I'm honored to have Heidi's support and I want to assure her that I never miss an episode of 'The Hills,' especially since the new season started."
- John McCain, in response to Heidi's support

Livin the life

[disclaimer-dont waste your time..]

this is the first night in a while that i've been all caught up on everything i needed to do...and there wasn't any good tv on...and everyone else is busy with midterms...so here I am at 11 O'clock writing on my good Lj.

it is really incredible how fast this year has gone..i mean spring break is almost here (jeeze way too late) and then just a little over a month and i'm done!! so ridiculous. approaching the third year. its actually kind of scary. life after college is pretty daunting. way too real. gross. anyways...still two solid years left of ridiculousness punctured by education. haha. oh i make it sound so frivolous. oh well. think what you will...

so I didn't think second semester could be more ridiculous than the first...
I have been proven wrong so far

big things have been happening

honestly 2008 has really been bringing great things...

rookie week for lacrosse- amazing, embarrassing, ridiculous, good times

Surfing- so i'm taking surfing this semester with two of my roomies which has been really fun. all the instructors are really hot, one actually went to redondo..he knew tracy and the manholes and all that business which was kinda funny. the one girl instructor is really cool and we've become friends. plus its awesome going on friday mornings then getting the Southswell for breakfast after which is two pancakes, two eggs, three pieces of bacon and hash browns. mmmmmm SO GOOD

Rugby 7's- my roommate amanda and i decided to catch the rugby 7's which took place at petco stadium htis year. its an international rugby tournament where instead of playing 15 players they only play 7 and the games are a lot shorter..so in turn we got to see a bunch of games, met some people from around the world, and saw A LOT of hot international rugby players. it was definately a good sunday afternoon.

CARLY KEEN!- carlay came to visit again this semester which was quite fun..didn't really have anything planned but neverthless we brought the partay to my apartment and got wasted and toured san diago. i'd say it was an accomplished weekend.

Ultimate frisbee party- so i've become a jersey chaser since i joined lacrosse and a new sport we infiltrated this semester was ultimate frisbee (yes our school has a club team). as lame as it sounds it was one of the best parties i've been to this semester. all the guys were really cool and there were some hotties too. it started out the most akward night of my life (it was a themed party that we didn't know about, i ate it on an invisible stump in the backyard in front of everyone, i wasn't drunk) and then evolved into an awesome one. fun fact- i saw one of the players facebooks and there is a picture of him and my dad together since my dad is a huge ultimate frisbee guy too. aaakward.

Outerspace party- our friends were all stoked on this party which thye threw at their house..it was pretty awesome..they really went all out with the decorations and costumes and what not. we partied, i added two names to the list, we walked miles all over san diego, and ended the night with panchos the dirtiest mexican food you've ever eaten. but sooo good. when you're drunk.

SB/Cal Poly weekend- we traveled up the coast a few weekends ago for lacrosse. we left friday night and stayed in some shiiiiitty motel outside of santa barbara. the entire penn state rugby team was staying there too ironically enough, but unfortuantly for the 48 hr rule we could not party with them. (sidenote: i dont think i have ever completly held the 48 hr rule...i made my own personal 24 hr rule..because really..that should be enough. who is hungover for 48 hrs??) anyways saturday we had our game against ucsb which was one of the most intense games of my LIFE. it went back and forth all game long, it was raining, and went into overtime and then double sudden death. INSANE. we won and it was aweosme!! if we had not won in that second overtime it would've had to go to "Braveheart" where two players square off and its essentially one on one till someone scores. nuts. thankfully it didn't resort to that and we reveled in our win. but not for too long because immediatly after the game we were whisked back into the cars and drove to cal poly. one of our seniors lives like 5 mins from cal poly so we all stayed at her house and her parents made us dinner which was fun. ha, it was akward because i had actually hooked up with her brother earlier in the year and he was tehre. akward. the nxt day was cal poly and bleh that blew. it was a really close game like sb..but we were better, buutt they had twice the players we did and in the last 4 minutes our team just about gave out and we were tired and frusterated and gave up like 3 goals and ended up losing. boo. that was hard ,it was our first loss. anyways we stopped in calabassas for dinner which was really cool and i got coldstone so it was all good in the end.

i'm sure there is plenty i have left out but i'm sufficiently bored of writing in here...lj has served its purpose of amusing me and now i'm ready for bed. night guys.

national hangover day

2007

what a ridiculous year
i must say that it's been one for the books.
It all started with second semster of freshman year at state which was amazing
started hanging out with the boys of 680...most of whom i live with this year
raged like no other
we had our infamous MEXICO trip which was absolute insanity and a major highlight of last year
then two days after school ended we had our crazy barn party
summer was pretty good...since i worked most of the time it didn't really feel like summer...but the last two weeks i had off before school was like my summer and that was sweet. the 4th was awesome at darbs and the six man was good stuff too.
then i headed down to sd again for more insanity
chargers v niners game. solid.
car came to visit
party party party
started playing lacrosse for state
sloshball with the hockey team
balck out
camping
day trip to julian
hanging out at alexs
party some more
and i could go on and on but basically
sweet freakin year

2008

so now i'm sitting here its like 1030...and no ones awake yet and i can't find my phone to text nikki how i normally do when i wake up after drunk nights. and thers people sleeping in my living room...not really sure who...hopefully saras one of them otherwise i have no idea where she went. but i just want to make some top ramen and find my phone...and my tv remote by the way. but bah...too bad schools not in sesh right now...i would totally walk over to peabodys and get a bagel. yeah last night was def legit. a new years eve for the books for sure. i'm kinda bummed i dont have many pictures from it tho. i can't believe my camera ran out of battery! i knew that was gonna happen! oh well i'll just have to go off of memory now. thankfully i do have full recolection of last night. wasn't one of thoose nights. glad i got to catch some of the rose bowl parade..totally forgot about it. i am a little bummed that im not at home right now only because i'm missing out on some sweet japanese cuisine. every year on new years day we have this huge spread of japanese food. mochi is by far the best..i shoulda brought some down with me...that woulda been sweet. oh well. hey i guess i didn't have it last year either come to think of it. anywho i guess i'm done rambling for now...maybe i'll go on the search for the phone/remote or do something productive like clean my room. probably not though. anyways hope everyone had a bomb new years eve and an even better new year!

someday you will be loved

I once knew a girl
In the years of my youth
With eyes like the summer
All beauty and truth
In the morning I fled
Left a note and it read
Someday you will be loved.

I cannot pretend that I felt any regret
Cause each broken heart will eventually mend
As the blood runs red down the needle and thread
Someday you will be loved

You'll be loved you'll be loved
Like you never have known
The memories of me
Will seem more like bad dreams
Just a series of blurs
Like I never occurred
Someday you will be loved

You may feel alone when you're falling asleep
And everytime tears roll down your cheeks
But I know your heart belongs to someone you've yet to meet
Someday you will be loved

You'll be loved you'll be loved
Like you never have known
The memories of me
Will seem more like bad dreams
Just a series of blurs
Like I never occurred
Someday you will be loved

You'll be loved you'll be loved
Like you never have known
The memories of me
Will seem more like bad dreams
Just a series of blurs
Like I never occurred
Someday you will be loved
Someday you will be loved

I absolutly love this song.
it makes me want to break someones heart
isn't that fantastic?
i'm so messed up.

why on earth am i still awake?
i am exhausted

you know when you're too tired to sleep?
thats my deal right now apparently
and i figure i have absolutly nothing to do tomorrow so why not

i know i know TWO entries in one day i'm retarded
but i'm also awake at 347 with nothing else to do but watch foodtv and listen to random music
like tegan and sara
i'm not sure if i even like them
but i'm listening because i'm too lazy to switch tracks on itunes

i have an absurd obsession with tall lanky men
crazy huh?
tall girls hate me..i'm 5'3"
whatevs life goes on

dangit my computer battery is running out.
i have 18 minutes to wrap this up

i really have nothing of actual substance to say or write about
rambling pretty much is my gift
i could just go on for hours on end about whatever pops into my head at that particular moment
i can't imagine that would be amusing to read though...actually, i dunno...i find my life pretty amusing so other people might as well.

i'm pretty sure my life would make a damn good reality television show. i can package drama better than the producers of laguna beach. oh the love triangles, the friendships torn apart, the bitches, the sluts its all so amusing. add massive amounts of alcohol and close living quarters and you've got yourself prime time television. is everyone else's life like this too and thats why we all like those shows? because it reflects our own? i never really thought of it that way. are we just all fucked up? nah. probably not.

officially four o' clock
um vier uhr ich schreibe einen roman.
yeah i really didn't learn that much in german this semester. much harder to pick up than spanish. the sentence structure is messed up. and also my professor kinda blew.

alright. whatever. i'm done.

Dec. 14th, 2007

I never travel without my diary. One should always have something sensational to read in the train.

I agree with Mr. Wilde

until about an hour ago I had completely forgotten about livejournal...but seeing as it is a rather lazy friday afternoon and I am done with my first semester of sophomore year and am fighting a mild hangover while watching factory girl...here I am.

I just find it so amusing looking back at old diaries or lj posts or what have you. definately a sensational read.

I am a serial reminiscer.

anywho college life has been treating me quite well. it's so funny coming home and having the same conversations with all those people who you were friends with but have lost touch. How's school? Where do you go again? Oh, do you like it? Whats new? What's your major? Are you in a sorority/fraternity? etc. etc. etc.

unfortunate but unavoidable
yet who am I kidding, i LOVE reunions. I thrive on those akward situations and checking out who got fat and who's a whore.

There's no way to recap what's been going on since i've been gone
I believe the last post was end of senior year...
that summer was pretty fun I think...oh yeah that was working at sunglass chalet. good times.
freshman year was amazing. I was really lucky and met some incredible people.
the trip to/shitshow that was called Mexico was a highlight for sure.
i swear..some of the best times of my life have been in Mexico
this past summer was pretty good. working at babystyle kinda blew. but there was some good stuff thrown in there. the 4th was AMAZING. darbs never disappoints.
moved down to sd early and raged it up in hardy apts.
since then it has been nothing but ridiculousness
from meetings MIMS to going to charger games to drinking with alex and his crew to SANTA FUCKING BARBARA
its been nuts.

cheers to another

oh you

haha
during prom season i did a study to see what the difference was between tux's and suits because really i had no idea except that they were more expensive or something like that. Anyways here are the results from my survey that i just recently recovered...

I do believe the question was "Is there a difference between a tux and a suit"

(Ted)
bloodoftheLamb07: haha
bloodoftheLamb07: tux has a bow tie
bloodoftheLamb07: and a fancier coat

(Greg)
zazzyzulu: they're cut differently, i think
zazzyzulu: and tuxes require either a cummerbun or a vest
zazzyzulu: i believe
zazzyzulu: and you wear different shirts

(Calvin)
jinnrumy: yes
jinnrumy: tuxedos have bowties, specific shirts that go with them
jinnrumy: stylistically they're different

(Sam)
SAMbroidoISdead: yeah
SAMbroidoISdead: a tuxedo is a specific kind of suit
SAMbroidoISdead: or
SAMbroidoISdead: a style of suit rather

(Marc)
Ledez5788: the lappel on the jacket, and the pant seem are shiny, and there's only one button, the lappel design is different
Ledez5788: different shoes
Ledez5788: they're shinnier
Ledez5788: the shirt has ridges
ThePenguinFish: wow you are very knowledgable

(Ian)
HamiltonXCream: sorta...
HamiltonXCream: i think a tux is just a special kind of suit, i don't really know

(Marc..again)
Ledez5788: and sometimes has a butterfly collar
Ledez5788: and tuxes have llllliiiiiitttttllllleeee holes in the pockets for your thumbs

i just foundt that amusing. I don't think i learned anything..except that marc knows a lot about tuxedos and no one else really does.

the last tuesday night

i went to the mb library this afternoon and checked out perks of being a wallflower
i forgot how much i love this book
and i read it cover to cover

three more days of high school left...
three more days of free education...
three more days of crappy lunches...
three more days of seeing all these kids i've known since elementry school but don't actually hang out with...
weird.

anyways, heres one of my favorite quotes from perks that i'd like to share

"Personally, I like to think my brother is having a college experience like they do in the movies. I don't mean the big fraternity party kind of movie. More like the movie where the guy meets a smart girl who wears a lot of sweaters and drinks cocoa. They talk about books and issues and kiss in the rain. I think something like that would be very good for him, especially if the girl were unconventionally beautiful."

what happened last night?

Feb. 15th, 2006

Once upon a time in mexico

so it would just be ridiculous and unnecesary and embarrasing and illegal if i posted a complete rundown of the fabulous baja trip but something had to be said because i am still in awe of how wonderous that was.

we can do some vauge highlights though

umm...well santa rosalia was a really awesome town in itself. none of that touristy crap. we hung out with the locals. ate at the best taco stand ever. made a tortillaria visit and got 12 freshly made tortillas for $1. orgasm. the hotel was really awesome that we stayed in. i ordered pan frances for breakfast the first morning. oh yeah the first night i went to sleep at 5 and got up at 6 to go whale watching. which was SO SWEET. seriously. we were in one of those little like 6 ft moterboast and got to go right up to the whales. I GOT TO PET A WHALE IN THE OCEAN! IN ITS NATURAL HABITAT! sweet man really it was playing with us and everything oh yeah and saw some dolphins too..but..who hasn't seen those. they were quite playful though. theeeenn we had the best fish tacos in the world. and i dont even like fish tacos!!! seriously, i'd never had one in my life before that trip, and i ate three and they were delish! oh yeah, i am quite proud of my accomplishment that, besides breakfast, all i ate was tacos while i was there. which was fantastic because they were just so good. crap its making me hungry just thinking about them.

yeah..and then a whole bunch of other stuff happened that was really awesome but im just getting tired of typing. so. shout out to baja. basically...it was the best trip ever.

oh yeah. basically...i lost my camera in mexico and i just got off the phone with the guy at the hotel i lost it at and had a very disjointed conversation with him.

basically im so mad, not for losing the camera, but for losing all of those priceless pictures. ya know? one of those things that you just can't buy back. oh well. thers still the fond memories.

cheers.

well it has been a fabulous holiday season, and i hope all of your had as a wonderful time as i did!

the awk sweater party was magnificent: charlie brown's christmas moovie, gingerbread house contest, gift exchange with ghetto santa, caroling...couldn't have been better
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
i forget what other holiday festivities have been going on...christmas eve was nice and relaxing as always at our family friends house...indian/sweedish food and disney's old school christmas videos. Christmas morn brought goodies as usual and my mummy made a delightful breakfast too. we saw narnia then went over to our other friends house for christmas dinner, medival style this year..we had potatoes lentil soup salad and...get ready...WILD BOAR! yes indeed, we never have turkey, but each year a different exotic animal...we've done dear, phesant, quail etc. wild boar was intereesting..couldn't really tell the difference...tasted like meat to me. ah well.

a good christmas, but enough of that, now onto new years eve!!!!! wooowooo!
